All are welcome to participate in the FutureAngels.com Bulletin Board Forum. Our only rules are that you not use profanity, and show respect for others on the board.
Access to the board has been restricted in recent months due to persistent attacks by spammers. They use programming code called a spambot to flood a board with fictitious accounts used to register for and access the board. Once they have access, they post advertising messages ranging from drugs to pornography to pretty much anything they've been paid to promote.
I've tried various approaches to cut down on the spammers. A "real" e-mail address is required, but they use free common services such as Hotmail.com, Yahoo.com, Gmail.com, etc. to create thousands of accounts that are used just for spamming. I've had to block those domain names to stop the spammers, but the unfortunate consequence is that it also blocks legitimate people from registration.
If you attempt to sign up for the board and get the error message Sorry, but this e-mail address has been banned, please e-mail me at home@futureangels.com to request an account. I'll work with you to activate your account.
