FutureAngels.com is a fan-owned and operated site. We receive no financial support from the Los Angeles Angels or any of their minor league affiliates. It has served the affiliates, the players' parents, and Angels fandom since April 1999.
FutureAngels.com provides you with daily coverage of the Angels minor leagues, including multimedia services such as the video highlights, the audio interviews, the bimonthly podcast and the FutureAngels.com Blog. All this is quite expensive. Stephen Smith, the owner and Webmaster, pays for this site and its activities out of his own pocket. Revenue is generated in part by the sale of FutureAngels.com photos.
But it's not enough.
Travel to the minor league affiliates costs thousands of dollars each year, and hundreds more to operate this Web site. In fact, FutureAngels.com didn't travel at all in 2006 to cut expenses, which meant no photos or video or interviews from any of the Angels affiliates.
To keep FutureAngels.com operational, it needs to remain financially self-sufficient.
Think of FutureAngels.com as the National Public Radio of Angels baseball. You won't see any ads on FutureAngels.com, you don't have to subscribe to the site, and you'll never receive an invoice in your e-mail.
But if you want to see FutureAngels.com continue, we need your help.
Voluntary Subscription
A voluntary subscription is the easiest way to regularly support this Web site. For $5.00 a month, your subscription will help pay for the travel costs necessary to continue daily coverage, photography and videography of the Angels minor leagues.
Note that this subscription is voluntary. You can access all areas of this site without the subscription. But the site can only continue to operate if enough visitors help pay for its operation.

We hate pop-ups and other intrusive forms of commercial advertising as much as you do. But just as PBS and NPR have “sponsors” who underwrite the costs of programs in exchange for an acknowledgement and tasteful advertising, we're willing to consider a few sponsors who would be acknowledged on the home page as supporting this site.
